Bone Augmentation – fast, safe and simple

The reconstruction of alveolar bone defects is a prerequisite for restorative driven implant placement.  

Based on biologic principles of bone augmentation, this presentation will highlight emerging technologies in digital 3D treatment planning. Advantages and disadvantages of current techniques based on evidence will be presented. Special attention is given on the Umbrella Technique a new tenting technique. A follow up on more than 600 cases will be given. Because of the reliability of the results in horizontal and even in vertical dimension even a predictable digital smile diagnostics and design is possible.

• Identify the principles of bone augmentation.
• Determine the potential of new and emerging therapies such as a new generation of tenting screws.
• Recognize both patient-specific and implant-specific factors affecting treatment outcomes of regenerative therapies.
• Learn about the current techniques of flap design soft tissue management before, during and after bone augmentation.
